Born: 1961, West Vancouver. My great grandfather came to West Vancouver in 1906.

Schools: Pauline Johnson Elementary, West Vancouver Secondary

University: UBC, BA (1983), MA (1988), Political Science

Master's Thesis: Surveyed every mayor and councillor in BC to determine the effectiveness of the Union of BC Municipalities (thesis sponsored by the UBCM)

Family: Married to Geoff (originally from North Vancouver) for 24 years. We have three children who attend Rockridge, University of Victoria and BCIT.
